Intro to Sweaters:
Spring Cardigan

In this class you will learn the basics of sweater knitting and construction. You will make a short sleeved, open cardigan that is worked seamlessly top down. You will also learn how to read basic charts and work a simple lace pattern

Materials:

• Leaflet pattern by Cecily Glowik MacDonald (available for free at Knitty.com)

• Worsted Weight Yarn for your size 

• US 10 circular needles (32" or longer) and DPNs

• Scrap yarn/stitch holders

• Stitch Markers

Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner: you need to have the ability to cast-on, knit and purl, and comfort with reading a pattern
